Commercial real estate financing opportunities can surface in conversations you’re already having with clients, referral partners, investors, and financial professionals. The key is knowing what to listen for, which opportunities are worth pursuing, and what to do when one comes your way.

Join Stuart Gelb of The Liquidity Source and Bob Bernard of Northmarq for a focused 30-minute Originator Academy session designed to help you identify commercial financing opportunities within your existing network—even if commercial lending isn’t your area of expertise.

You’ll learn how to recognize potential transactions involving multifamily, investment and other commercial properties, including situations where a property or borrower may no longer fit traditional bank requirements. The session will also introduce financing options such as permanent, bridge and construction financing, agency lending, CMBS, preferred equity and mezzanine capital.

Most importantly, you’ll learn how to identify an opportunity, make the right introduction, and participate economically without having to become a commercial financing expert yourself. Stuart and Bob can take the transaction from initial evaluation through closing while you remain connected to the opportunity.

The class will conclude with a real-world financing comparison showing how different capital sources can affect loan proceeds, structure and overall terms—giving you practical insight you can use the next time a commercial opportunity crosses your desk.
